Hey Guys, just wanted to drop a little first person info on a couple of Extang products.  One of their reps, Bruce, came by the TonneauCoversWorld Test Facility today and let us run through a couple of their products.

First up was the Extang BlackMax.  The BlackMax is Extang's best selling snap tonneau cover.  If you are looking for an affordable, easy access cover, this could be the one for you.  There are a couple of things that I really like about this cover.  the snap itself is a glass-filled nylon with a stainless steel button = no rust.  Extang also reinforces the edges of the BlackMax with a hard plastic to keep the shape and the corners intact.  Some low budget snap covers just lap over the vinyl.  Extang also makes the buttons and the support bows adjustable so when the weather changes, you can adjust the BlackMax for a perfect fit.  Oh, and the tail rail has a one-finger release so you can easily get if off to accommodate those large loads.  Finally, this is about a 10-15 minute install. No drill, no hassle, 4 clamps and then snap it on.  Now, if you really want to step up to a great value cover, I would suggest looking at the Extang Tri-Fecta.  This is a tri-fold cover meaning it fastens down by the cab and then folds into 3 sections.  For just a little more money.....read more on Tri-Fold Tonneau Covers here

Installation

Installs easily with bed rail clamps custom made for your truck. The clamps wrap around your bed rails and drop into grooves in the tonneau frame. The entire cover installs in less than 15 minutes!
